The University will be switching from The Standard to Mutual of Omaha for all life and disability insurance coverage effective January 1, 2027.

Additional Life Insurance Rates (same as current)
Employees who currently have opted for additional voluntary life insurance for themselves or for their eligible dependents will maintain their current coverage levels at the same rates. Because of this transition, employees who have not opted into these coverages in the past and employees who would like to increase their levels of coverage may do so now without providing Evidence of Insurability documentation.
Employees may view their current coverages on Truview. Go to Employee, then Employee Tools, and choose Employee Self Service Dashboard (DUO login required). Choose the Benefit dropdown option, then choose Current Summary. You can also review your most current pay stub to find this information.
If you would like to add coverage or modify existing coverage, contact Human Resources no later than November 24. Once a final census file is sent to Mutual of Omaha, employees may still request these coverages but will be required to provide additional medical documentation to be approved.
